Simonetta Pedicillo -Vidart

I was born in Turin where I later graduated from the First Art School; since childhood, however, I have moved between this city and Aosta where I still reside and work.
The sense of discontinuity given by the frequent transfers and the lack of a feeling of belonging to a certain place give rise to the need to create for myself a place in which to find refuge.

I alternate between different types of media depending on the project to be carried out, which gives me the opportunity to range in multiple fields of expression.
Out of this continuous research a technique I devised was born, which I will call Layering Art for the time being.

At the moment, part of my works is exhibited and viewable at the smart gallery Inarttendu, via Martinet (AO) - Italy.
